Winter Hibiscus...

This poor dress has been sitting in my closet since the summer ended. Because it's so summery, I have a hard time styling it for the winter months.  I also tend to only want to wear it when I pair it with a flower in my hair, which is how I wore it every time last summer. They just seem to go hand in hand.

I bought this dress when the "my kind of pie dress" was out of stock, and seemed like it wasn't going to come back in stock.  The cut of the dress is similar, and being my favourite colour, I felt that it was a pretty close second to the pie dress.  Even though I now have the pie dress as well, I'm so happy I bought this one. It's so fun and summery, and I definitely can't wait to wear it and feel 'Islandy' this summer. I think I may have to get some orchids for my hair for this one.

I tend to wear it with teal or mint shoes, because I'm not huge on pinks... so far, I've been happy with it. But with summer styles making their way in, and Bait Footwear's fun colours, I may end up ordering some pink shoes.

  5. What a lovely dress (and a gorgeous girl of course)! Perfect color combo... I am dying to get my hands on them. I was wondering if you could possibly tell me the skirt lenght (waist to hem) as this info is nowhere to be found.
